What We Collect

• Email address — when you join our waitlist
• Messages you paste for analysis — processed by our AI to identify manipulation tactics. Messages submitted through our demo tool are stored temporarily for service improvement but are not linked to your identity.
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Usage analytics — page views and feature usage via PostHog (privacy-focused analytics)
• Optional survey responses — if you choose to tell us about your situation

How We Use Your Data

• To provide AI analysis of text messages for manipulation tactics
• To notify you when early access launches
• To improve our AI's accuracy and the types of manipulation we detect
• To understand which product features matter most to our users

What We Don't Do

• We never sell your data to third parties
• We never share your messages with anyone
• We never use your messages for advertising
• We never contact the person who sent you the message

AI Processing

Messages you submit are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI for analysis. Anthropic's API does not use submitted data for model training. Messages are processed in real-time and are not retained by the AI provider after analysis is complete.

Data Retention

Waitlist data is retained until you request deletion or until the waitlist period ends. Demo analysis data is stored for up to 90 days for service improvement, then deleted. You can request deletion of all your data at any time by emailing privacy@instashield.ai.
